Seasonal Flu

Influenza, also known as the flu, is a viral respiratory infection. If your hands are contaminated and you come into contact with someone who is sneezing or coughing and exposes your eyes, nose, or mouth to infectious droplets, you could contract the flu. Most persons aged 6 months and older are advised to get vaccinated against the flu every year. If this is your child’s first flu vaccination, ask your pharmacist.

Protect yourself and others around you from getting influenza (the flu). Manitoba Health encourages everyone to get their FREE flu vaccine every year in early fall.

Those two years of age and older can administer the flu vaccines from our qualified Pharmacists. The flu vaccination should be provided by their family doctor to children between the ages of six months and two years.
